Chronicle Project is excited to be working again with two of our favorite clients, Azusa Pacific University and Eden Reforestation Projects.

Over the last few weeks we’ve been working non-stop on an introduction video for Azusa Pacific University’s Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibition.  You heard right, the Dead Sea Scrolls.  We had a blast filming some ancient artifacts, interviewing leading experts in the field and working alongside a great crew.  We’ll try to keep you all posted, but we would really encourage you to go see the video and this groundbreaking exhibition for yourself.  You can learn more at apu.edu/deadseascrolls

In our limited free time we’ve been preparing for our trip to Africa to film for Eden Reforestation Projects.  Our team will be in Czech Republic, Ethiopia, Kenya and Madagascar documenting some of the world’s most revolutionary reforestation efforts.  Stay tuned for pictures and updates.

CP Producer Dave Mahanes will be speaking during “Justice and Missions Week” at Belmont University on Wednesday, October 28th. He will be talking about the use of visual storytelling to help promote social justice and will screen two Deidox films (Lindsay & Deon).

There will also be a screening of our documentary Dear Francis on Wednesday evening.  Afterwards, Dave will do some Q & A.

We’re excited to announce that fifth film in Chronicle Project’s Deidox series has been officially launched. It’s a story that we’ve been developing for quite some time, told from a point of view that western audiences rarely, if ever, get to experience.

Deidox | Li Yang is a personal story of how the gospel is spreading in China.

By purchasing the film Deidox | Li Yang you will not only be supporting Deidox, but a portion of the proceeds will go to China Aid. China Aid exists to advance religious freedom in China by exposing the abuses, encouraging the abused and equipping leaders on behalf of the persecuted church.

September has been a very busy month for the team at CP.  We had a number of videos to film and edit for our favorite client, Union Rescue Mission.  You can view one of the recent videos we completed for URM below.  It’s a story of how the simple act of giving cold water can make a difference in someone’s life.

We were also busy finishing up the next Deidox film which provides a unique glimpse into the underground church in China.  Today we finished up the final cut and have sent it to our colorist and our composer.  Once they complete their magic we will do the final sound mix and be ready to share this important story with the world.  Stay tuned for the actual release date of Deidox | Li Yang in a few weeks.
