A trip to China – July Recap

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

bg3

This month, part of the team from CP took a secret trip to China to work on a short film for the Deidox series.  They spent time learning about the underground church and following an individual who is risking his life to share Christ with his friends and neighbors.  We are so glad they made it back safely and look forward to the story they have to tell.  The new film will hopefully be released in Sept. or Oct.  Click here to learn more about Deidox.

The team from CP also produced another film for Union Rescue Mission.  This summer URM provided a camp experience for over 100 kids who are part of their program.  Take a moment to watch Bobby’s story.

Friend of CP hitting the road on behalf of homeless

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

A good friend of the CP team, Mark Horvath, is heading out on a roadtrip across America to capture and tell the stories of individuals who are homeless.   We met Mark through our work with Union Rescue Mission.  Mark spent several years homeless and is now celebrating 14 years of sobriety.  He is the creater of invisiblepeople.tv, a website that brings awareness to the growing problem of homelessness.  He is a dear friend and we encourage you to follow his journeys across the country.

Here is more information about the Invisiblepeople.tv Road Trip USA.  I know Mark would appreciate your support and encouragement.  Also, I think he is still looking for a couple more sponsors.  Already he has received sponsorship from Ford, Hanes, and many others.

Connect with Mark:

Twitter, Facebook, his blog, whrrl, YouTube, or Ustream.tv.

More videos for clients – June Recap

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

It’s been a busy few months at Chronicle Project.  We have been working on several client pieces for Union Rescue Mission and Azusa Pacific University.  We have also begun pre-production/production on the next three films for the Deidox series.

Here is one of the videos we completed for URM.  It’s a powerful story of an incredible high school student who is currently living at Union Rescue Mission.
